A practicable method of making audiograms in dogs

摘要: Abstract As well as procedures with unconditioned responses, operant have their disadvantages if one wishes to make audiograms in a quick and reliable way. The first method is often less reliable; the latter very time-consuming. authors found solution by using peculiarity of dogs, viz. panting, order regulate body-temperature. During this behaviour sound stimulus perceived highly characteristic response will follow. repeatability test good; habituation not apparently occur.
