摘要: Abstract The GFDL 11-level general circulation/tracer model is used for two experiments designed to prepare the way a self-consistent of atmospheric ozone. first experiment invokes very simple condition at top level, an instantaneous relaxation specified 10 mb average observed ozone value. tracer inert below level until it removed in lower troposphere. second introduces simplified, but reasonably realistic chemistry including Chapman, nitrogen and hydrogen loss processes. Below inert, troposphere by same mechanism as experiment. These experiments, spite their different middle stratospheres, show remarkably similar behavior stratosphere.
