摘要: Planning of shale gas infrastructure and drilling sites for hydraulic fracturing has important spatial implications. The evaluation conflicting competing objectives requires an explicit consideration multiple criteria as they have environmental economic This study presents a web-based multicriteria decision support system (SDSS) prototype with flexible user-friendly interface that could provide educational or decision-making capabilities respect to site selection in eastern Ohio. One the main features this SDSS is emphasize potential trade-offs between factors ramifications from activities using weighted linear combination (WLC) method. In prototype, GIS-enabled analytical components allow spontaneous visualization available alternatives on maps which value-added processes derivation final maps. also facilitates nonexpert participation mapping module, tool, group social media sharing tools. logical flow successively presented forms standardized used generate trade-off scenarios alternative solutions tailored individual user’s preferences are graphed subsequent decision-making.
