摘要: Abstract Climate change is a key environmental challenge of our time. Carbon footprinting accounting tool for business managers, policy makers and non-governmental organisations attempting to identify mitigation measures that reduce the threat climate change. The textile industry increasingly engaged in carbon as part development product design. As case any tool, there are number methodological issues need be handled by analysts producing footprint calculations, consumers such information, order ensure information meaningful its particular context. This chapter describes these challenges, standardisation processes have arisen meet them, outcomes practical calculations manufacturing facilities products, recent work on labelling products. It also attempts describe current trends qualitatively extrapolate future developments this field.
