摘要: In the northeastern United States, chronic wasting disease has recently been detected in white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) populations, and understanding relationship between landscape configuration home range may improve surveillance containment efforts. The objectives of our study were to compare size for occupying a continuum forested landscapes investigate relationships measures configuration. We used movement-based kernel density estimator estimate at five spatial scales among across areas. developed 7 linear regression models that explain range. observed differences sexes areas differed based on documented changed with various metrics identifying connectivity patches. Generally, increased an increasing proportion homogenous forest. Our results suggest region occupy hierarchically-nested is controlled by local or broad geographical regions.
