摘要: Visual display of reported impacts is a valuable aid to both reviewers and readers systematic reviews. Forest plots are routinely prepared report standardised effect sizes, but where sizes not available for all included studies forest plot may misrepresent the evidence. Tabulated data summaries accompany narrative synthesis can be lengthy inaccessible. Moreover, link between conclusions opaque. This paper details preparation visual direction multiple outcomes across 29 quantitative health housing improvement. A one page summary was 10 000-word synthesis. The study design, internal validity, sample size, time follow-up, as well changes in intermediate outcomes, example, condition. This approach visually summarising complex reviewer cross-study analysis improve accessibility transparency available. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
