Thermodynamics of separation of uranium from neodymium between the gallium-indium liquid alloy and the LiCl-KCl molten salt phases

摘要: Abstract This work presents the electrochemical study of neodymium and uranium compounds in fused LiCl-KCl eutectic vs . Cl - /Cl 2 reference electrode temperature range 723-823 K on liquid gallium-indium alloy. The activity, solubility activity coefficients were calculated. separation factor from alloy was determined. obtained data show perspective used this system future innovation method for recovery nuclear waste.
