摘要: The conversion of soybean oil to biodiesel fuel was investigated in the presence a lipase from Thermomyces lanuginosus (commercially called Lipozyme TL IM) solvent-free medium. inactivated when more than 1.5 molar equivalent methanol added mixture. To fully convert its corresponding methyl esters, reaction performed successfully by three-step addition 1 and under optimized conditions (40°C, 150 rpm, 10% enzyme quantity based on weight), maximum ester (ME) yield 98% after 12 h reaction. By-product glycerol had negative effect enzymatic activity iso-propanol found be effective for removal, which expressed relatively high 94% ME maintained being used repeatedly 15 batches.
