摘要: Observed 30 selected lines were crossed to two testers: CML-320 (heterotic group “A”) and CML- 321 “B”). The 60 line x tester combinations evaluated at four location in the subtropical region of Mexico. In combined analysis across locations variance componentsfor GCA SCA significant for grain yield. Significant values allowed separation inbred into opposite heterotic groups based on performance test crosses. On basis this information, synthetics formed with 7 each defined as “A” “B”. Nine single crosses outyielded commercial check hybrid. Across top yielder hybrid produced 9.48 t/ha which was 15.6% higher than check. Average yield by 7.1, 3.8, 11.1 9.0 Tlaltizapan, Tlajomulco, Celaya y Pabellon, respectively. Positive observed six lines. effects ranged from 1.18 -2.19. study can effectively be used hybridization programs.
