摘要: The combined acquisition of proton images and localized spectra is considered essential to the application NMR techniques human animal research. ideal imaging/ spectroscopy coil for our purposes would be one that provides highest possible signal-to-noise, high homogeneity, operation on two or more frequencies without retuning requirements cable changes. To address these needs we have developed a quadrature double-tuned birdcage. We incorporated earlier work transformer coupled surface into birdcage structure by placing birdcages in coaxial configuration. This resonates at 34.6 MHz (phosphorus resonance 2.0 T) 85.5 (proton T). performance this phosphorus was excellent, with signal-to-noise 133% linear reference. less efficient, signal noise 67% reference, but still quite sufficient imaging. A image rat abdomen are shown.
