摘要: Ionic liquids (ILs) have been one of the most interesting chemical entities over last two decades and investigated by numerous scientists all world. However, during IL research, it has shown that these compounds present toxicity to both terrestrial aquatic plants, among others. The phytotoxicity ILs depends on type cation, length alkyl chain in substituent or enantioselectivity, concentration used, and, appears anion may also an impact toxicity. toxic effects plants depend conditions under which such tests are conducted. results help facilitate development protective environmental measures against IL-induced negative effects, but they be used various landscape-related areas, as herbology, design new substances with weed killing properties.
