摘要: Abstract The influence of a self-organizing diblock copolymer on the morphology, crystallinity and mechanical properties high molecular weight polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is investigated. A spherically organized nanostructured containing 25 wt% soft acrylate block 75 wt% rigid polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) incorporated in PVDF proportions varying between 12.5 70 wt% copolymer. DSC DMA experiments prove miscibility glassy PMMA with amorphous fraction PVDF, whereas fully segregated, preserving nanostructuration blend. Transmission electron microscopy SAXS show that confined into inter-lamellar gallery giving rise to swelling crystalline/amorphous lamellar morphology. long period L p varies from 120 A pure 200 A presence WAXS ATR spectroscopy polar β polymorph favored blends preserved. Tensile tests demonstrate large improvement elongation at break, without significant loss strength for samples lower amounts
