摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter explains that the computer-aided electroencephalogram (EEG) analysis and multivariate statistics are valuable in study of minor brain dysfunction because cerebral ischemia. EEG recordings using a bipolar montage, as coronal chain along central areas across vertex, made from 50 neurologically normal subjects group 32 patients with transitory ischemic attacks (TIAs) or completed strokes, most them neurological deficits; nine had scored visually. Two test conditions used: recording during rest voluntary, repetitive, self-paced squeezing rubber ball first right then left hand. describes procedure allows clear discrimination normals ischemia based on multiple data recorded voluntary movement. The application linear discriminant (MLDA) showed general symmetry measurements among homologous regions yield powerful between patients.
