摘要: The dry root and rhizome of Salvia miltiorhiza (Lamiaceae) are used as a crude drug Danshen, while those S. deserta (Xinjiang-Danshen) mixed in Danshen at Xinjiang province when the former is short supply. water MeOH extracts showed strong aldose reductase (AR) inhibitory activity, their active constituents were determined to be polar compounds different from "tanshinones" miltiorhiza, i.e., lithospermic acid B (1), salvianolic K (2), salviaflaside (3), rosmarinic (4) (IC50, 2.63-3.91 microM). We also examined AR activity seventeen plants, including ten species resources (S. bowleyana, deserta, var. f. alba, paramiltiorhiza, paramiltiorhiza purpureo-rubra, przewalskii, przewalskii mandarinorum, sinica purpurea, trijuga), analyzed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). results indicated that there four types with regard three amount 1. Ten good correlation between morphological classification. However, intensities varied, they contained 1 varying amounts. These facts suggested not same, thus use resource should based on and/or constituents.
