摘要: a b s t r c Aim: Public access defibrillation rarely reaches out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients in residen- tial areas. We developed text message (TM) alert system, dispatching local lay rescuers (TM-responders). analyzed the functioning of this focusing on response times and early relation to other responders. Methods: In July 2013, 14 112 TM-responders 1550 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) were reg- istered database residing with dispatch center two regions Netherlands. living <1000 m radius patient received TM go directly, or directed retrieve an AED first. 1536 OHCA where defibrillator was connected from February 2010 until 2013. Electrocardiograms all for connection time.
