摘要: Since structural control of civil structures was first proposed in 1972, research and applications have focused on enhancing safety under extreme conditions. This paper introduces a new direction control. Computational systems explicitly defined knowledge are used to improve serviceability maintenance structures. The objectives such structures, called intelligent maintain performance by recognizing changes behaviors loads, adapting meet goals, using past events future performance. To these objectives, synergies from control, computational methods monitoring technology exploited. presents review current provide background which characteristics proposed. A framework based methodology is then presented that combines reasoning explicit knowledge, search, learning illustrate capabilities intelligently controlled system this described uses the specific combination case-based simulated annealing search. An application tensegrity given. use stimulating design construction innovative thus extending possibilities for engineers.
