摘要: Carbon materials have attracted intense interests as electrode for electrochemical capacitors, because of their high surface area, electrical conductivity, chemical stability and low cost. Activated carbons produced by different activation processes from various precursors are the most widely used electrodes. Recently, with rapid growth nanotechnology, nanostructured materials, such carbon nanotubes template-synthesized porous been developed. Their unique properties well controlled pore sizes structures facilitate fast ion electron transportation. In order to further improve power energy densities carbon-based composites combining double layer capacitors (EDLC)-capacitance pseudo-capacitance explored. They show not only enhanced capacitance, but good cyclability. this review, recent progresses on summarized, including activated carbons, nanotubes, in particular mesoporous carbons. advantages disadvantages discussed. At end future trends proposed.
