Lung and aero-digestive cancers in young marijuana smokers.

摘要: Marijuana has been shown to be one of the commonly abused substances in world, especially among teenagers and young adults. Although its addictive potential psychomotor side-effects have widely publicized, issue possible carcinogenicity is not as well perceived. smoke contains many same organic inorganic compounds that are carcinogens, co-carcinogens, or tumor promoters found tobacco smoke. We encountered several marijuana users with no history smoking other significant risk factors who were diagnosed lung aero-digestive cancers our practice. there experimental epidemiological studies suggesting an association use a cause cancers, this remains controversial. It hoped case presentation can help stimulate further awareness research into issue.
