摘要: Single-phase switching compensation schemes are presented and analyzed for untransposed EHV transmission lines having one, two or three shunt reactor banks. For this purpose modified simple four-legged banks utilized. A general method is developed to optimize the neutral values in order minimize secondary arc current different arrangements of reactors. As an example, a large range 765kV used single-phase parameters obtained ratios between capacities The optimum reactances as well current, recovery voltage voltages functions factor which varied from 0.6 1.0.
