摘要: A recent escalation of application layer Denial Service attacks (DoS) on the Internet has quickly shifted focus research community from traditional network-based denial service. As a result, new varieties were explored: slow-rate and low-rate DoS attacks. In this chapter, after brief introduction attacks, we discuss characteristics newly proposed illustrate their impact modern web servers.
