摘要: Abstract The importance of genome size, as a useful taxonomic marker, has been stressed in many studies based on different groups. A critical appraisal intraspecific variability reported various species so far shows that the plant is fairly stable (taking narrow concept) and one salient features defining biological species. Large differences DNA amounts may exist at infrageneric level which be correlated with adaptive traits nuclear, cellular, tissue organismic levels. Therefore, being an character, comparison nuclear C-values conjunction other characters provide natural way to elucidate evolutionary relationships. In number cases it possible study whether gain or loss occurred during speciation coincide existing treatment presumed relationships within group. present account deals recent examples highlight size microsystematics.
