摘要: A microwave heating applicator usable in preformed holes mansonry and the like for dehumidifying areas around is formed from a length of coaxial transmission line. Radiating elements are outer conductor line providing an asymmetrical radiation pattern. The radiating provided by forming circumferential axial discontinuities conductor, each discontinunity having pair non-parallel cut edges encircling line, leaving open area extending axially between edges. One may describe plane perpendicular to line's z axis while other edge describes which not axis. be at intervals along An end element only one being bounded remote with removed therebetween. flattened pattern obtained orienting adjacent their respective asymmetries angularly rotated 180 degrees relative another. interval must least on order one-half wavelength antenna medium microwave-transparent protective cover.
