摘要: Keys to the attainment of tailored properties in SiC ceramics are microstructure control and judicious selection sintering additives. In this study, three different strategies for controlling micostructure liquid-phase-sintered (LPS-SiC) have been suggested: initial α-SiC content starting powder, a seeding technique, post-sintering heat treatment. The suggested offer substantial flexibility producing toughened whereby grain size, size distribution, aspect ratio can be effectively controlled. present results suggest that proposed suitable manufacture with improved toughness.
