摘要: Extreme weather events often disrupt the operation of public transit systems, and challenge capacity agencies to effectively respond them. In this paper, we draw upon a recent nationwide survey 273 in metropolitan regions across United States understand factors that influence their scope adaptation anticipated climate risks. We find agency undertakes more measures when officials perceive greater risks adaptive agency, or it experiences severe extreme events. also show local institutional environment, particular, political ideology, affects activities. Transit operate politically liberal counties tend engage actions, while effect state-level ideology depends on level perceived from state governments.
