摘要: Adult stem cells (ASCs) are the undifferentiated that possess self-renewal and differentiation abilities. They present in all major organ systems of body uniquely reserved there during development for tissue maintenance homeostasis, injury, infection. do so by promptly modulating dynamics proliferation, differentiation, survival, migration. Any imbalance these processes may result regeneration failure or developing cancer. Hence, various behaviors ASCs need to always be precisely controlled. Several genetic epigenetic factors have been demonstrated involved tightly regulating ASCs. Understanding mechanisms is great importance, given role regenerative medicine. Investigations on animal models played a significant part enriching our knowledge giving In Vivo in-sight into such regulatory mechanisms. this review, we discussed recent studies demonstrating different viz. intestinal (ISCs), neural (NSCs), hematopoietic (HSCs), epidermal (Ep-SCs).
