摘要: The global influence on tropospheric chemistry of nitrogen oxides (NOx = NO + NO2) emitted by fossil fuel combustion may be strongly modulated nonmethane hydrocarbon (NMHC) taking place in the continental boundary layer. This effect is investigated using a three-dimensional, continental-scale model O3-NOx-NMHC over North America summer. includes detailed representation NMHC including particular isoprene. Model results are evaluated with observations for ozone, reactive species, and photochemical tracers at number sites America. Sensitivity analyses conducted to explore effects assumptions regarding aerosol peroxy radicals fate hydroxy organic nitrates produced from oxidation A budget analysis United States indicates that 9% Of NOx. exported out layer as NOx, 3.5% peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN), 3.7% other nitrates. Isoprene principal responsible formation export nitrates, which eventually decompose provide source NOx remote troposphere. Export U.S. found major scale northern hemisphere troposphere upper midlatitudes. Proper isoprene important simulation models.
