摘要: Abstract Alkali and alkaliCaO silicophosphate glasses (R2O · 2SiO2 3P2O5 γR2O γCaO 3P2O5; R Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs; γ = 0.5) have been investigated by Si K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy for evidence of sixfold coordinated Si([6]Si) its dependence on alkali metal cations. The XANES spectra were collected fluorescence yield (FY), which is sensitive to the interior sample. proportion [6]Si varies from about 50 60% greatest K- Na-bearing marginally greater quenched at 300°C rather than room temperature. determined in agreement with 29Si nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. does not vary appreciably substitution Ca2+ 2R+, suggesting that largely independent details large cation sites these occupied. total electron (TEY) reflect diminution through near-surface sample degradation do properly represent bulk glass structure, e.g., TEY-XANES Cs-bearing indicated no detectable [6]Si.
