摘要: Fuel cell is a device that transforms chemical energy into electrical through oxidation-reduction reaction of hydrogen-rich fuel with oxygen or air. Direct Methanol Cells (DMFC) as proton exchange membrane potentially developed to realize the commercialization cells in transportation applications. Membrane currently widely used for DMFC Nafion®. However Nafion® has disadvantages such high price, short-lived and methanol permeability. Poly Ether Ketone (PEEK) an alternative material due having good combinations physico-chemical mechanical properties but it hydrophobic material, therefore very low ionic conductivity. This research aims study effect addition cesium- phosphotungstic acid (1-15w.% loading) sulfonated PEEK (sPEEK) membrane. The analysed characteristics were water uptake, swelling degree, permeability Increased loading phophotungstic sPEEK membranes improved value factor Moreover composite was fortunately reduced up 9% then increased when percentage raised up. Proton conductivity 10% lowered at more loading.
