摘要: Objective: To assess the effects of duration exposure to biomechanical strains on various types low back pain (LBP). Methods: The population study was a random sample from GAZEL cohort. Durations selected during subjects’ working lifetime and potential confounders were assessed in 1996 by self-administered questionnaires. Data LBP previous 12 months collected 2001. Relations between dimensions durations analysed with multivariate regression models. Polytomous models built determine whether some specifically associated LBP. Results: Analyses performed separately for men (n = 2218) women (n = 383). Significant associations observed (ORs reported are those 20 years exposure) driving bending/twisting (OR 1.24 1.37 respectively); more than 30 days 2.20 2.00 respectively) 3.15); radiating leg 1.43) 1.95); below knee pulling/pushing/carrying 1.88). Bending/twisting both women, appeared be stronger risk factors days. Pulling/pushing/carrying heavy loads factor specific men. Conclusion: This suggests that has long-term dose-response relation
