摘要: Axisymmetric drop shape analysis (ADSA) is a method to measure surface tension using or bubble profiles. Combining ADSA with captive configuration (ADSA-CB) facilitates pulmonary surfactant related studies. The accuracy of ADSA-CB crucially dependent on the quality profile extracted from raw image. In previous version ADSA-CB, global thresholding was used segment profile. However, that technique limited for images noise and/or lack contrast. this paper, new generation Canny edge detector developed. To obtain better results, novel smoothing technique, termed axisymmetric liquid fluid interfaces-smoothing (ALFI-S), introduced and incorporated extract performance evaluated under different conditions. results suggest methodology capable producing accurate values variety circumstances.
