摘要: Eighteen patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and 4 a solitary hyperfunctioning thyroidal nodule were given I131 before after administration of 2000 μg. stable iodide as potassium iodide. The difference between the 24-hour uptakes pre-potassium post-potassium tracers was reduced to percentage in manner described by Feinberg associates. inhibition uptake all cases studied striking, differed appreciably from values for normal persons. It simulated findings Graves' disease goiter. TSH subjects did not consistently alter pattern response “iodide test.” From these preliminary studies it is postulated that iodides enhance pre-existing intrathyroidal defect conceivably related organification
