摘要: We use a license plate survey to study route choice through the city center of medium-sized Dutch city, in which car drivers can basically choose between orbital and ring. For sample 1397 trips, we fitted multinomial logit regression model. According this model, is relatively little influenced by actual travel time. This corresponds with fact that many did not shortest time route. Travel distance combination one “route type velocity” for all routes, velocity routes most decisive factor. The indicates how fast attractive are (being perceived). results support hypothesis more as these avoid busy center. effect however partly offset also prefer direction their destination. These direct mainly routes. show importance considering complete relation location only set links nodes when modeling choice.
