摘要: In a heterogeneous surface reaction, the reactants, intermediates, and products can be weakly chemisorbed along their respective reaction paths. For example, considering fragmentation of molecule into strongly adsorbed atoms, dissociation will occur out less bonded molecular entity. But not only importance for catalytic reactions stimulates investigation phases, they also exhibit interesting sequences phase transitions which are reflected in thermodynamic functions adsorption desorption kinetics ad- sorbate. present purpose, we define weak chemisorption as chemical interaction between adsorbate substrate with low energy (EB ≲70 kJ/mol), resulting facile balance individual species lateral forces molecules. The distinction “weak chemisorption” “chemisorption” is rather arbitrary, but difference obvious respect to pure physisorption involving Van der Waals substrate.
