Connection Admission Control in the UTRAN Transport Network

摘要: In this paper we propose a Connection Admission Control (CAC) algorithm to provide Quality of Service (QoS) in UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Networks (UTRAN). UTRAN, the main QoS requirement is ensure low packet delays. The CAC works with priority scheduling, which used for differentiation. We give detailed investigation on performance implications applying scheduler. novel closed-form formulae are fast, simple and accurate enough practical implementation CAC. A comprehensive evaluation study illustrative numerical examples also presented. results validated by simulations.
