摘要: The hydrodistillation of the aerial parts Stachys palaestina L. collected in Lebanon Kadisha Valley, yielded 0.1% (w/w) essential oil. GC and GC-MS analyses enabled identification 87 compounds representing 90.8% total Hexadecanoic acid (10%), hexahydrofarnesyl acetone (6.9%), eugenol (4.3%) (E)-caryophyllene were main components. On whole, oil was constituted mainly sesquiterpenes (37.7%), among which sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (20.7%) slightly prevailed over oxygenated (17.0%). This is first report on chemical composition S.
