摘要: Thirty lines and six cultivars of soybeans (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) were evaluated in wide-row (76 em) narrow-row (18 cm)spacingsat two locations 1982 one 1983. The objective the study was to determine if evaluation wide rows can be used identify superior linesfor narrow-row culture. Yield narrow 27.0% higher than at both 1982 and 20.8% In general, the high yielding entries also highest yielding ones rows, although they did not necessarily include all ones narrow rows. One cultivar were, however, consistent exhibiting a moderate response to narrowing row spacing, over years locations. No trait identified as being associated with the response. selection nurseries will that perform best
