摘要: Quantitative coronary angiography (QCA) has had a major impact in the field of interventional cardiology. Due to its superior accuracy objectivity and improved interobserver intraobserver variability it supplanted visual hand-held caliper assessments arteriograms [1–3]. QCA is now gold standard for assessing tree context scientific research. It not yet gained widespread appeal routine clinical use because expense time constraints. To date there are two different techniques measuring quantitative angiographic stenosis. One based on detection luminal borders from orthogonal images create three-dimensional approximation diseased vessel, other uses videodensitometry stenosis extract information single view. Although latter approach particular advantages, we favor edge method provides absolute measurements that relatively insensitive image quality.
