摘要: According to most studies dealing with wear, abrasion can be considered on one hand as micro-cutting, leading material removal (grinding), and the other micro-ploughing, plastic deformation lower (abrasive wear). Understanding various flowing transitions around an abrasive particle, under well-established conditions, makes it possible better control these processes. The aim of present study is understand failure local phenomena induced by process. Experimental have been carried out process which consists in scratching a soft flat surface (AISI4140 steel) mean turning tool fixed periphery disc. Regulating angular feed speeds, successive scratches are expected generated single pass cutting tool. Scratch topography forces measured order highlight influence depth cut speed parameters specific energy.
