摘要: A retrospective study on compromised patients who underwent a lobectomy by standard thoracotomy for stage I non-small cell lung cancer revealed them to show poor prognosis and quality of life due their deteriorated physical conditions. Therefore, video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS lobectomy) was performed some these according the provisional indications based our which indicated that it may be beneficial. Fourteen VATS lobectomies group). Sixteen (ST group) were compared with those group as historical controls. Although mean operating time longer than ST group, there no significant difference. The amount blood loss significantly less group. maximal postoperative serum CPK level slightly difference observed regarding changes in performance status both before after operation between We thus considered beneficial aged patients, especially restricted
