摘要: Much attention has been paid to the roles of sphingomyelin (SM) metabolism in regulation various cell functions such as growth, differentiation and apoptosis. Sphingomyelinase (SMase) catalyzes first step SM-metabolizing pathways that generate bioactive metabolite, ceramide. SMase present membrane microdomains, raft caveolae may be involved agonist-mediated events. However, it is still unclear which molecular species stimulated by an agonist produce ceramide how agonist-sensitive SM are topologically localized within micro-domains. Here, we show close interaction between neutral caveolin 1 1% Triton X-100-insoluble fractions plasma membranes isolated from adult rat resting liver rapidly growing ascites hepatoma, AH 7974 cells. Then, describe connection acid 2 or apoptosis induced all-trans retinoic acid. Finally, discuss possible for caveolins with respect topological distribution caveolae.
