摘要: We describe landscape use of female brown bears (Ursus arctos) on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska, USA. Radiocollars, fitted to 43 adult bears, provided radio relocations, which we used habitat patterns by season and reproductive class at scale. Brown were associated with areas low densities human developments roads, as well riparian that close cover. Presence streams lakes supported spawning salmon (Oncorhynchus spp.) positively influenced summertime distribution bears. Female cubs avoided concentrations other Resource managers may this information respond bear conservation issues increasing populations development in establishment road density standards, seasonal closures, management recreation sites, vegetation Peninsula.
