摘要: The amount of data generated in cancer research is growing rapidly. High-density array-based technologies, such as genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping and gene expression microarrays, are producing that not only larger size, but also complexity, with regard to study design associated meta-data. This chapter discusses how the flood genomic transcriptomic managed databases, often by large collaborative consortia developing new approaches informatics maximize availability utility data. Genetic variation databases most designed for a particular layer detail, disease-causing variants specific phenotypes; variation, both SNPs structural variants; repositories complete association studies. Gene-expression microarray stored repositories, services have been developed take advantage increasing number diversity experiments. By associating biological information integrative analysis, it can be transformed from high dimensionality summary level directly usable bench biologists.
