摘要: 1. C57xRIII F1 hybrid mice reared at 32° C. D.B., 29° W.B., from 3 to 8 weeks of age, survive longer 41·7° 29·4° than litter-mates 20° 16° W.B. 2. The transference animals the hot environment cooler one 48 hr. before they are exposed lethal temperature has little or no effect on their heat tolerance; but in opposite direction greatly increases survival time. 3. Mice whose tails have been amputated 5 a lower tolerance normal animals. 4. total loss weight an animal is independent environmental which it reared; heat-acclimatized lose less rapidly control ones. 5. It concluded that least some changes, both physiological and morphological, occur when high temperatures, over-all adaptive.
