摘要: The Mont-de-l’Aigle deposit is located in the northern part of Dome Lemieux, Connecticut Valley-Gaspe Synclinorium, Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec. Lemieux a subcircular antiform Siluro–Devonian sedimentary rocks that cut by numerous mafic and felsic sills dikes Silurian to Late Devonian age. Plutonism occurred continental within-plate extensional setting typical orogenic collapse. Cu−Fe (± Au) mineralization occurs veins, stockworks, breccias. Mineralization near or within N−S NW−SE faults cutting rocks. IOCG postdates intrusions, skarns, hornfels, epithermal southern Lemieux. paragenetic sequence comprises: (1) pervasive sodic, potassic, chlorite, silica alteration, (2) hematite, quartz, pyrite, magnetite, chalcopyrite stockworks breccias and, (3) dolomite ± hematite veins veinlets earlier mineralization. Intrusions display proximal sodic potassic whereas have decalcification, silicification, alteration. Both intrusive are affected distal chlorite silica) sulfur isotope composition pyrite (δ34S=−1.5 4.8‰) suggests was derived mainly from igneous Fluid δ18O (−0.4 2.65‰) indicates meteoric seawater reacted with country Mixing hot magmatic fluids cooler fluid, perhaps suggested for mineral deposition alteration deposit. mineralogy, compare well deposits worldwide, making rare example Paleozoic mineralization, formed at shallow depth, low metamorphic grade rock sequence.
