摘要: Abstract The behaviour of hamsters in the open field can be influenced by many environmental and hormonal factors. sexual dimorphism ambulation characteristic mature animals was not evident before puberty. Weanlings both sexes were much more active than adults. Pre-pubertal testing prevented later expression this sex difference. score females which had been tested at weaning lower that naive same age similar to males. Other sex-differences, e.g. increased rearing rapid emergence from a box, also abolished pre-pubertal females.
