摘要: Cotton and cotton/polyester fabrics were treated against microbial attack by applying a formulation based essentially on ZnO under high-energy radiation thermal curing. To achieve the homogeneity reactivity of treating formulation, binder (Impron MTP) dispersing agent (Setamol WS) used with ZnO. The antimicrobial property was evaluated, in terms mechanical properties, soil burial test. Moreover, effect finishing dyeing properties color strength investigated. It found that best composition affords protection to cotton contains 2% ZnO, binder, 1% agents. For blend, results achieved at same conditions except 1%. treatment electron-beam irradiation is better than gamma showed when process carried out before reactive dye, it affects rather performing after process. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
