摘要: ABSTRACT Regions of the plasmid genome essential for replication and maintenance in Escherichia coli have been identified two antibiotic resistance Plasmids, RK2 R6K. In both cases a small segment plasmid, containing an origin replication, has maintained as extrachromosomal element when another region(s) that specifies trans-acting product is present host cell. Nucleotide sequence analysis regions plasmids R6K revealed seven 22 base pair (bp) direct repeats tandem region eight 17 bp clusters three five RK2. A model presented involving interacting π protein, required initiation with necessary step replication.
