摘要: Abstract Background: The aim of the study was to investigate abnormalities P300 subcomponents in schizophrenic patients as well relationships between these and positive versus negative symptoms. Methods: Nineteen 19 healthy controls were tested with an auditory event-related potential oddball paradigm designed elicit P300. data analyzed by separating a recently developed dipole source model. Results: Compared controls, showed reduced amplitudes temporo-basal dipoles, corresponding mainly P3b. Positive symptoms Negative Syndrome Scale correlated positively but not temporo-superior activities, whereas activities. Conclusions: separated model are affected different manner Furthermore, correlation severity psychopathology activities appears be state-dependent effect, which has from amplitude reduction trait marker patients.
