摘要: Stern–Volmer analysis and competitive photo–oxidation experiments of some squarylium dyes with nickel bis(dithiobenzil), an efficient singlet oxygen quencher, have been carried out in chloroform solution cellulose acetate film, order to study the photodegradation mechanism for optical data storage systems. From both sets it was found that reactions involve oxidation by a self–sensitised process, quenchers such as dithiolato complexes inhibiting effect on photoreaction dyes. The relative rate constants reaction from were determined. It is shown use effective improving light fastness thin layers polycarbonate substrates.
