摘要: SUMMARY Two field experiments commencing in winter (December) and spring (April) were conducted to determine the fate of nitrogen (N) cattle slurry following application grassland. In each experiment three methods used: surface application, injection ± nitrification inhibitor, nitrapyrin. Slurry was applied at 80t ha−1, (≡248 kg total N ha−1 experiment, 262 experiment). From surface, losses through NH3 volatilization, measured using a system wind tunnels, 77 53 respectively for experiments. Injection reduced volatilization loss ∼2 ha −1. Following by denitrification, an adaptation acetylene-inhibition technique, 30 5 two Larger denitrification observed injected treatments; from without nitrapyrin kgN −1, with 23 ha−1. Total corresponding treatments 18 14 Apparent recoveries grass herbage both broadly reflected differences between gaseous loss.
